About Nişantaş
Nişantaş is a historic site located in the Boğazkale district of Yozgat. It features a lengthy Hieroglyphic Luwian inscription carved in relief on a rocky outcrop at Nişantepe, dating to around the end of the 13th century BCE. The inscription is thought to be about the military victories of Suppiluliuma II, the last king of the Hittite Empire. Nişantaş is within walking distance of Hattuşaş (676 m), Green Stone (687 m), and Kral Kapısı (647 m).
