About Hacı Hekim Mosque
Hacı Hekim Mosque is a place of worship located in Bergama district of İzmir, opposite the Bergama market and the vegetable and meat market. It was built in 1513 by Mevlana Hacı Hekim. The mosque's minaret is considered a masterpiece of brickwork, constructed in a double-shell style. There is a fountain in the mosque's courtyard. It is within walking distance of İzmir Bergama Museum (618 m), Pergamon Amphitheater (692 m), and Kurşunlu Mosque (367 m).
