About Hadrian's Gate (Ephesus)
Hadrian's Gate is a historic site located in Selçuk, Aydın. Situated at the lower end of Curetes Street in the ancient city of Ephesus, it is believed to have been constructed between approximately 113 and 128 AD. This three-story gateway, made of white, grey-veined marble, features a tripartite entrance with a wider central arch and two narrower openings on each side. Hadrian's Gate is within walking distance of Ephesus (383 m), Celsus Library (41 m), and the Church of Mary (735 m).
