About Insula M1 (Ephesus)
The Roman Public Latrines in Selçuk, Aydın, were the communal toilets of the ancient city of Ephesus, constructed in the 1st century AD. Part of the Scholastica Baths complex, they featured 36 to 48 seats on marble benches and also served as a social hub. The latrines are within walking distance of the Celsus Library (89 m) and Ephesus (403 m).
