About Memmius Monument (Ephesus)
The Memmius Monument is a historic site located north of Domitian Square in Selçuk, Aydın. It was built between 50-30 BC in honor of Gaius Memmius, a grandson of the Roman dictator Sulla. While its original appearance is not fully known, it is thought to have been a two-story tower-like structure with a conical roof.
